Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy

Watch Chamber respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This Policy sits alongside the Terms & Conditions, Seller Rules & Standards and Counterfeit & Illegal Goods Policy.

1. Ownership of Platform IP

All rights in the Watch Chamber name, logo, branding, software, page designs, editorial content and databases are owned by or licensed to Watch Chamber Group Limited. Nothing on the Platform grants any implied licence to use our IP outside normal browsing of the Platform.

2. User content licence

You retain ownership of the Listing content you upload (photographs, descriptions, videos). By uploading, you grant Watch Chamber a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, cache, reproduce, adapt (for formatting), publicly display, distribute and promote that content on the Platform and in marketing about the Platform, for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the service. You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights in the content you upload and that its use does not infringe any third-party right.

3. Trademarks

Third-party brand names, model names and logos referenced on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Listing a watch on Watch Chamber does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the brand.

4. Copyright infringement notices

If you believe content on Watch Chamber infringes your copyright, send a written notice to info@watchchamber.co.uk including:

• your full name, contact address and email;
• identification of the copyright work (or a representative list);
• the URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury or equivalent, that the information is accurate and you are the rights-holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
• your electronic or physical signature.

5. Takedown procedure

On receipt of a valid notice we will investigate promptly, may remove or disable access to the content, and will notify the uploader. The uploader may submit a counter-notice with equivalent detail; we may reinstate content if the counter-notice is valid and the complainant does not confirm legal action within a reasonable time. Repeat infringers are subject to account termination under the Account Suspension & Appeals Policy.

6. Trademark infringement

Trademark complaints (including counterfeit-related complaints — see the Counterfeit & Illegal Goods Policy) follow the same notice mechanism at info@watchchamber.co.uk.

7. Abuse of the notice process

Knowingly false notices may result in liability under English law and account restrictions.
