This Policy sets out how Watch Chamber applies account restrictions, how you can appeal them, and how reinstatement is decided. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions and works alongside the Acceptable Use Policy, the Counterfeit & Illegal Goods Policy, the Seller Rules & Standards and the Complaints Procedure.
Restrictions may be applied where we have a reasonable basis to believe there has been a breach of the Terms, any Policy referenced above, a court order, sanctions, applicable law, or where restriction is needed urgently to protect users, rights-holders, or the integrity of the Platform.
For suspected fraud, counterfeit, stolen goods, or serious harm, we may suspend an account without prior notice for the duration of the investigation. We may preserve and lawfully disclose account data to law enforcement and affected parties.
Where practical we will email the account holder explaining the restriction, the reason at an appropriate level of detail, and the appeal route. We may withhold detail where doing so would prejudice an investigation, safety, or legal duty.
To appeal, email info@watchchamber.co.uk within 30 days of the restriction, including the account email, the reference from your restriction notice, and any evidence supporting your appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a Trust team member independent of the original decision.
We aim to acknowledge appeals within 3 business days and provide a decision within 10 business days. Complex cases may take longer; we will tell you if so.
Where an appeal succeeds we will lift the restriction and restore affected features where possible. Where issues can be resolved with corrective action (for example, updated verification documents, edited Listings, or an undertaking not to repeat conduct) we may reinstate conditionally. Reinstatement does not entitle you to compensation for the restriction period.
Refund entitlement is governed by the Refund Policy. Restrictions for breach of the Terms or a Policy do not usually entitle you to a refund of Listing fees or paid subscription periods.
If you are dissatisfied with the appeal outcome you may raise the matter under the Complaints Procedure.
