Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every user of Watch Chamber. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions. Breach may result in Listing removal, warnings, suspension, permanent ban and — where appropriate — referral to law enforcement under the Account Suspension & Appeals Policy.

1. General standards

You must use Watch Chamber lawfully, honestly and respectfully, and must not misuse the Platform or interfere with the way it operates.

2. Prohibited behaviour

• Fraud & misrepresentation — including impersonation, fake identity or business details, forged documents, or false claims of authenticity, provenance, service history, or Dealer status.
• Fake or duplicate accounts — including operating multiple accounts to evade suspension, manipulate reputation, or bypass fees.
• Spam — including unsolicited promotional messaging, mass duplicate Listings, off-topic content, and referral / affiliate scraping.
• Counterfeit or replica goods — see the Counterfeit & Illegal Goods Policy.
• Stolen property — listing or dealing in watches you do not have lawful title to.
• Harassment, abuse or hate — targeting any user or Watch Chamber staff, including threats, discrimination, or personal attacks.
• Sharing personal data — publishing other users' personal information without consent.
• Circumventing fees — asking Buyers to complete Listings off-Platform to avoid Listing fees or Members Club obligations.
• Auction manipulation — shill bidding, coordinated bidding, retracting winning bids without good cause, bid sniping via automation, or otherwise interfering with genuine price discovery.
• Technical abuse — scraping beyond permitted use, reverse engineering, penetration testing without written consent, denial-of-service, credential stuffing, or bypassing access controls.
• Sanctions & law breaches — using Watch Chamber to breach UK export controls, sanctions, anti-money-laundering or tax obligations.

3. Reporting abuse

Report suspected breaches to info@watchchamber.co.uk. Formal complaints follow the Complaints Procedure.

4. Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, refuse refunds, and cooperate with law enforcement. Enforcement decisions can be appealed under the Account Suspension & Appeals Policy.
